Is this going to be a problem?

my 7 month old RIR has a mutation which was supposed to make her a twin. which led her to have a split beak at the tip. when she was little, the beak posed no problem. she could eat, drink, and do everything a chicken could. but now, her beak is growing more on the split part than the bottom part, and then i guess she broke off one half of the split part, because one half is long and kind of dropping off the side of her beak a little, and the other side is shorter and growing ok. i am afraid to clip it, because i don't know if chicken beaks are like fingernails, and won't hurt or bleed. please help. i don't think it's good for her.

i couldn't get pictures right now, but i might be able to tomorrow. i tried to describe it the best i can.
