Is this golden barnvelder a roo?

Here is Chocolate and Muffin at 5 1/2 wks hatched May 7th and this photo was taken June 6th. We are thinking the golden color one Muffin is a male. What do you think?

Doesn't look like a Barnevelder at all.

Looks more like a Welsummer pullet to me.

I had a double laced barnie that started out like that. There are barnevelder threads on BYC, I'd take a look on those if I were you.

That's a very real possibility.

Welsummers are wonderful birds though. I have two myself.
