Hi there,
My girls free range everyday and go into their coop at night. I noticed the next day this gal didn’t make it in. And she is barely moving around. She won’t eat and I’ve been forcing electrolytes multiple times a day. I did an Epsom salt bath and checked her for egg bound. She’s is not.
I noticed her beak and head feels warm. She also has this very thick poop.

Hi,

When is the last egg she layed if you know?

I'd suspect egg bound still even though you checked as many times we can't tell ourselves.

The other ideas would be coccidiosis or worms.

I'd give her some extra calcium as in around 300 mg calcium citrate +D3. You would just pop one in her beak and she'll swallow it. One per day for a few days if needed. This will cause contractions so if she has an egg or parts thereof inside her, it'll help her pass it.

Was she recently moved to a different pen? Trying to find out if it was coccidiosis, how she'd get it.

Have they ever been wormed? Ours never have been in 10 years, but if I couldn't figure out what was wrong with one or more, I'd deworm them.

Thank you. I have so many birds I don’t know when the last time she laid. She has been in the same pen. She didn’t make it back to her pen. She stayed outside in the elements here overnight. And we found her like this yesterday. I have never wormed my chickens.
