She’s doing really good! Just took her out and noticed that her tail is kind of curly. Is this is a Sebastopol thing I thought the goslings look similar to any other.

Atta girl!!! She must be feeling just fine.Only out of the egg for a few minutes and she’s already trying to eat her nest!
From what little information I've gathered, it does look like they have a gene mutation that causes their feathers to curl downward. She’s doing really good! Just took her out and noticed that her tail is kind of curly. Is this is a Sebastopol thing I thought the goslings look similar to any other.
Yes, Sebastopol geese have curly feathers when they become adults which is part of what makes them more valuable. That and being endangered. I looked up pictures of Sebastopol goslings before though, and they look just like any other gosling, but this one’s got some curly tail feathers, which is very cute! I’ll take pictures in a minute. From what little information I've gathered, it does look like they have a gene mutation that causes their feathers to curl downward.
How fun!! She must be wanting to get a head start on looking fancy. She is adorable!!OK, you cannot see the curl at all anymore.when she was wet, you could see it a lot better. But here’s some pictures!
I do have more eggs but they are hatching in a few weeks. She is with a duckling right now. She’s so sweet!! Do you have more eggs that will be hatching or will she be by herself?
