Personally I have never owned ducks but my chickens grit is much smaller

that's the Tractor Supply brand and now that I know you're in Canada you probably can't get that exact one there. YOu need one that is really fine almost like the stuff that comes off of shingles on your roof if that makes any sense.

Ohh ok that makes sense! But what is the stuff I have? There is three bigs bags of in my shed, not sure where it came from

I have no idea what that is. It almost looks like the stuff you might find on a beach? At any rate it's way too big!

That is some sort of scratch grain, no.

If you can't find chick grit you can use parakeet grit for baby chicks.

That looks like a decorative gravel mix, for crafts. It would work in a pinch, but you'll get better results with the cheap stuff.
