i have a flock of 10 9 hens 1 rooster my d,uccle looks alittle like she is molting she is the only hen like this they are 7 months old is she molting i will post a photo

Yes you hen is molting. They do that this time of year. A bit extra protein will help her through her molting process.

Not completely sure but it might be an early phase.

At only 7 months, she's probably only going to do a light or partial molt. Some breeds are more sensitive the light changes of fall than others. Molting pullets are pretty normal for my flock.

Feather fixer has almost as much calcium in it as layer feed. High calcium diets should only be fed if all the birds in the flock are actively laying. Flocks with roosters, molting hens, or growing birds should be kept on a starter/grower type of feed with oyster shell offered separately for those that need it.
