Is this just calcium deposits?

We have found this type of egg twice now and not 100% sure what we're looking at. We've gotten some odd eggs over the few years but this is new to us. Do I have anything to worry about?

Don't know who's laying it but all hens are between 1 and 3 years old.

We were getting Feather fixer and Layena food. Now just on Layena. There is also a bowl of cherry stone grit and a bowl of oyster shell for them if they want it.

Oh my. That sure is odd! I have never seen calcium deposits in such large quantity like that before. Also, when my hens lay eggs with calcium deposits, usually they are the color of the egg, not white like that (though I can't make a general conclusion about that). Maybe something up with the shell gland? I honestly have no idea.

I've had a few with calcium deposits similar to that, albeit not quite that much. Are they just coming out of a molt? I seem to get some odd eggs when they're getting back into the swing of laying after they molt.
Are they all eating, pooping, and behaving as usual?

I agree with the normally colored calcium deposits and that's why I'm really not sure what this is. Everyone seems to be acting normal and I'm not seeing any odd droppings. I know three isn't young but it's it really that old to start laying weird eggs?

I've heard people say if the girls are getting Layena that they don't need extra calcium. Is that true? Should I try pulling it for a while?

This is the grit I've been using. I haven't been having any issues that I know of but it's there something better that I should be using?

Yes, I looked it up...it's quartz rather than the usual granite,
should be fine tho have never heard of it being used.

I just thought the brand name 'Cherry Stone' was odd....
....first I thought the 'grit' was ground up cherry pits. :gig
