Is this just me?

I was wondering if any of you like the smell of chicks. Not When they are hatching, they smell weird then, but after they fluff up, I love the smell of them, when I go to the feed store, I must look like a weirdo, because I pick up the chickens, and smell right behind their neck. I know some people who like the smell of puppy breath,

I like the smell of chickens. And I like the smell of chickens, when they don't have poo on them. I have an 8 week old right now, sitting on my shoulder, and she smells the way I like them to smell. Maybe chickens have certain feather oils that make them smell this way, but I sure do like the smell.

Hmmm, I have never really smelled my chickens... I think some flocks smell different than others.

I've never smelled chicks (well on purpose) - I'll have to do that with the next ones I have.

I love to smell clean feathers. I also love the way a chick feels, cupped to my check, all warm and fuzzy.
