Hello,
I have a few drakes that I have been trying to sell for multiple months with no luck.
So anyways a few minutes away we have a ginormous lake, I was wondering if it would be ok to drop them of there. TIA

It is illegal in some places, I believe. But whether it is illegal or not, it's inhumane. I'm assuming your ducks are domesticated? You would be better off just culling them if so, they depend on humans and would not survive.
It's certainly cruel to your ducks. It would be much better and kinder to butcher them.
And who will feed them and make sure they are safe from predators. It's illegal to dump animals.
Try some rescue facilities in your area.
Ok, thanks guys.

I wouldn't ever want to do anything bad to them.

It most likely isn't in the law books (as far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong). But you shouldn't do that. Freezer camp would be a better option, unfortunately. Because they're not natural to that environment, don't have natural migration instincts, and no necessary shelter and no true knowledge of dangers in the wild, you shouldn't release them there.

Have you tried Craigslist yet? Here's an article that I wrote on how to rehome birds on there: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/how-to-post-on-craigslist.76257/
