I have three Light Brahmas. All were hatched on March 19th this year, so they are just over 16 weeks old. I have one that is definitely a pullet, and one that is definitely a cockerel, but the third one is so iffy. Its comb and wattles are very red and nearly as big as the cockerel's, but its tail feathers are a little differently shaped from his and it is the same size as the pullet, whereas the cockerel is a good 2-3 inches taller than them. Here's some pics. I hope I don't have 2 roos...
Here's the pullet

The cockerel

The ???

I read on here somewhere that the males tend to have a little more black smut on their backs than the females. Ol' Rooster has more than the other two. He also has a little deeper voice than the others, though none of them are crowing yet. I'm pretty confused about this one, I knew Brahmas were slow maturing, but can a 16 week old pullet get a face that red?
