I hope we're not out for another veterinary adventure. One of my little backyard flock, a polish hatched in early spring, has shown what looks like a slowly progressive neurological problem. She seems to have difficulty balancing and extends her wings for balance, or else she's having trouble keeping her wings folded. She still runs around and competes for food really well with our other pet hens. In fact, I think she's still in the running for top hen (out of 5). So, at least the others aren't picking on her. But she squats down more, most of the time, and she doesn't seem to be able to get up on the roost in the coop. This has been slowly progressive for at least several weeks, if not longer, but finally it's undeniably a medical problem. Does this sound like Marek's?
Thank you.
Thank you.
