This is a baby chick from our own flock. No new birds have ever been introduced. We bought all the birds at the same time and this is one of their babies.

Yes I’m doing that with no improvementHave you tried poultry vitamin and mineral supplementation?
How would she get it without any new birds coming in?! I feel awful for her and have her separated so she doesn’t get picked on... but now she’s all alone and so sad I don’t know what to do!MD is EXTREMELY common in backyard flocks and because birds can be asymptomatic and live to ages within normal expectancy many cases go undiagnosed. Also, most backyard flock keepers do not get professional necropsies performed by vet pathologist when a bird dies so many deaths also fo unrecognized as MD.
There are many different diseases that can cause similar symptoms, but she is fitting into the MD range. If she passes or you decide to euthanize, have her necropsied. Only way to confirm or deny or find out fir sure what caused her condition.
Remember that if its MD your whole flock already has it and you will forever have it. But its not the end of the world. I have it in my flock.
Are you sure your flock didn't already have it? Because its in their dander, if you have been in other coops, or handled products from other chicken people, anything and they have it, it can spread very easily. How would she get it without any new birds coming in?! No I’m not no one else has any symptoms at all! She’s the only one. Our neighbors all have chickens so I guess it’s not totally shocking? And the more I read the more daunting it is since even vaccinated birds can pass it.Are you sure your flock didn't already have it?
