Lol the wetness and the brown flecks are from me spraying me with the permethrin 10 and her trying to dust bathe in some wet dirt lol. But okay pinless peepers i think are gonna be the next step.Looks more like she's getting picked by the others plus some digestion issues.
Or a change in diet, more space or boredom busters.Lol the wetness and the brown flecks are from me spraying me with the permethrin 10 and her trying to dust bathe in some wet dirt lol. But okay pinless peepers i think are gonna be the next step.
They have more than enought space i just upgraded their coop and got rid of some birds they started dping this after we moved i thrink from stress and now i think its a habit unfortunately... and ive tried some bordem busters i got some interactive treat dispenser balls, i got a pecking block and i rven got rent a coop treat pecker things and they work until they run out of treats or blocks and they they go right back to it. And how do i change their diet? The feed is from a feed store local to me not tsc soi dont have a ton of choices.Or a change in diet, more space or boredom busters.
What's the protein percentage on the feed? everything else sounds good. Its 16 percent. What's the protein percentage on the feed? everything else sounds good.
The coop is an 8 by 8 with 10 hens and the roosts run the full 8 ft of the coop i have 2 of them spaced horizontally about 18 in apart. How many birds in how much space? Do they free range at all, or are enclosed all the time? Often your most pristine looking bird is doing the picking. Roost spacing is also a factor. If the roosts are too close together and put them butt to face it can contribute. If you only recently changed things, then the birds might not start to look better until they molt and get new feathers, even if the problem is solved. So you will need to watch, see if there is still anything going on, or this is just damage from before.
If you can find a feed of at least 18% protein, that would likely help. Its 16 percent.
