Is this molting? New chicken owner here

This is definitely not molting. i would suspect mites or overmating. Any other hens showing similar symptoms?

Yes all but one chicken has it near tail . Still laying eggs ok. What should I do ?

The bird in perfect feather is most likely the one causing the problem. Pin Less Peepers can stop the practice, and even sometimes break this bad habit.

Do they have enough space to get away from each other. Birds with not enough space will generally pick at each other more.

Do you have a rooster?

How many birds in what size space? When they get bored they’ll do this. As @sourland says it’s likely feather plucking.
