Is this month old Barnevelder chick with a bright red comb a roo?

I'm definitely not an expert but I've been doing A LOT of reading about sexing Barnevelders because I'm suspicious about my own who is three weeks old. My understanding is that the comb and waddle redness is not as good of an indicator in Barnevelders and that they can be very tricky to accurately sex throughout development. I had read that birds with barring on the chest feathers are likely female since roosters will have those solid dark chest feathers. I'll see if I can link some of those posts and readings because perhaps I'm misremembering. If I were you I might hold out a little longer.

It's a good indicator when the comb and wattles are that red and big. Hers is definitely a cockerel.
