How's she doing today?

She's doing very well. It's starting to heal nicely. She still seems very alert and although she limps a bit when she walks, she still moves around fairly normally.

Yeah ... nothin' like young adults that act far more mature than most grown ups ~'-)

I'd still take her for a visit to the neighbor's, since you had the wisdom to consider their experience ... if nothin' else? Give them the chance to be as impressed by the way you've handle yourself as the rest of us are.
