So I have two female welsh harlequin female ducks. They were born around the end of may making them around 4 1/2 months old. They have been eating layena laying feed. Today I walked into the coop and found a small egg on the ground with a different mottled looking outside. It looks very different from my other serama and mixed breed bantam eggs I get. Also the chickens all lay in my nest box that has 12 boxes and it hangs on the wall. I have pictures below of the egg. My question is could this be my first welsh harlequin egg?

The shape does seem a little off for a duck egg but it definitely could be one.
I agree the shape does seem off and I would have never suspected a duck egg to look like that until recently when my mallard started laying...her first egg looked exactly like the above pictures and I was thinking "Who is laying alien eggs?" (I have no chickens either)😂
