We hatched them ourselves.
Just not sure they are 3 weeks 4 days old. I have a video but it's too big

Are they bedded down for the night? Are they active, running around during the day? Do you have a heat lamp on them? What is the temperature on the floor of the brooder right below the light? How large is the brooder? What is the temperature at floor level at the farthest point from the heat source?

Your chicks, if indoors, shouldn't have any heat during the day at three weeks. They should only have a little heat during the night, not over 75F under the heat source.

No bloody or red poop. All poop is normal. They are on medicated chick starter

Oh so too hot. I leave it on all day they are inside. Should I turn it off now?

They are lying in the light though not out of it? They are on a table. In a Rubbermaid with metal racks on top cause they were jumping out of the shorter box, we just switched to this one...

They looked hot in the video with their little wings held away from their bodies.

I'm going to give you my heat sermon.

You are not heating the brooder. You are providing a bit of a "campfire" for your chicks to warm up at. Your chicks need cool space except of a tiny spot to warm up should they chill. They have enough feathers at three weeks, they won't lose any body heat if the room is around 70F. This is because they are awake and eating during the day, keeping their bodies stoked with heat calories. Even baby chicks still in down don't need much heat during the day at 70F -75F.

At night, they need a little heat at three weeks because they will lose some body heat through the areas on their bodies still unfeathered. But not more than what a 60 or 75 watt bulb puts out.

In another week, they should be pretty much weaned off heat as long as they're still indoors. You would do your chicks a big service by taking them outdoors on nice days and letting them start to get used to cooler temps. They will enjoy the space to romp in. Did you know your chicks can fly? Give them enough space and they will show you.
