First time I’ve noticed it, it is the first warm day we have had in a while so could be that. Will keep an eye on the lad.How often? My chickens do that when their hot, cold, bored, or ready to make me think they are dead. Though if it is happening often I would be worried (as in he is normally just sitting on the ground like that). If it is a once every so often thing I wouldn’t be worried.
They do tend to do it more regularly when they are hot. It just sounds like he was trying to cool himself down.First time I’ve noticed it, it is the first warm day we have had in a while so could be that. Will keep an eye on the lad.
