Hi
I have 6 nearly four month old silkies.
3 males and possibly 3 females. Only one I’m not sure- a brown one. Could be male or female.
my grey male is chasing this brown one and pecking at him/her. The brown one makes a lot of noise. Then when brownie sits low/squats down. Grey one just stands over it. No mating or mounting so far as I can see. Just squawking and pecking!! I tried to video it.

I wasn’t sure if it was normal or excited/rough mating behaviour? Totally new to all this and so worried for little brown one him/her.
he chases brownie around the garden too. ☹️

I’ve separated the grey cockerel. He’s in a large cage in my garage. Brownie seems nervous to join the rest of them now 🙁 she was hiding in a bush

That's not normal rooster/hen behavior; that's bullying. I cannot tolerate a rooster that beats up on my hens; he'd be rehomed or eaten for dinner in a hot minute.
It was horrible to watch. It suddenly started today. I have no idea what to do with him now. No one wants cockerels. Even pretty boys like him :(

He's being a pushy dominator.

What would you advise please? I have tried so hard to rehome cockerels it’s impossible where I live xx
Well, if he doesn't straighten out, you can turn him into soup if it's your last option.

I've had silkie cockerels start out pushy, & grow into gentleman. So time, & patience will give you the answer.
