is this normal chicken behaviour

I never saw bloody poop in mine, but I treated with Corid as soon as I noticed symptoms, she was better by the next day and 100% (acting) by the day after. I would treat for cocci. We just had one that was acting sick, but I treated all of them. I hope that solves your issues - it's so hard to know what's wrong with them, but that might be a starting point. Can you have a fecal float done in the mean time?

A fecal float is a test that checks for parasites in the poop. I would just treat them as soon as possible. You can get the medicine at a feed store. The drug is amprolium. Check other forums for dosage, you add it to their water. When mine was sick I made up the water and syringed it into her mouth, because she wasn't eating or drinking well. Just be careful not to get any down her lungs.

will it hurt the chickens that might possibly not have it yet?
none of my chickens are friendly enough i can squirt it down their mouth so what do i do
does the medicine cost a lot

No it won't hurt the other chickens. It is $15-17/bottle. Just put it in their water if you don't think you can put it into their mouths.
