Is something wrong with this egg I'm new to incubating we have only hatched one but didn't look like this one.

I've never seen that before, but to me it looks like this one was rotten and cracked and started leaking. Much better than exploding as they can sometimes do. Is there a pretty bad smell coming from the incubator? If so, a rotten egg would be my guess.

No there's no bad smell and it was moving in the egg when we candles them a few days ago. I just don't think it looks right. I mean I see the hairs from the chick but doesn't look like it's moving or anything no little cherps or anything and I'm afraid to pick it up invade it cracks the rest of the way

Ahh ok, so the crack is from it hatching then. In my experience when its seeping like that the chick is usually dead. Maybe someone with more experience can chime in, but it seems like the goo seals up any air holes and they drown/suffocate, not sure which. You may want to think about assisting if it's been trying to hatch for a while, or at least check to see if it's still alive.

What's on the outside of the egg? Is it oozing or did you use candle wax or something to fix a crack?
Has to be ooz as we haven't done anything when we candle we use a very bright flashlight. No ones touched it sense we candles them last. the crack started around 1:30 this morning
