Just came in from locking up and all is well! Everyone was in their respective coop and on a roost.

I’m thinking that was the issue. I’ll be going to town this weekend for some straw to throw in the run for the snowy and muddy days. That was not an item I was aware I needed until now. Another reason I love BYC!!!

The weather will be between 40 and 50 F this week but I still had a lot of snow patches in the run. We’ve had a few nice days but not enough to melt it all. It did make it a slick, muddy mess though. I got a few straw bales and spread some around yesterday. At first the birds seemed terrified of it, but today they’re all happily lounging and pecking around in the run. Thanks everyone for your knowledge and guidance!
