Is this normal?

I'd take away their food until tomorrow morning. They are supposed to empty their crop overnight. See how she looks in the morning.

You might want to search this site for "impacted crop" and see what the recommendations are just so you are prepared.

If that ends up being normal for her, you might have to name her Big Bertha or something. ;)

Lol!! I took away the food and noticed she isn’t drinking much. I watched a video about how to give her some water and have been feeding her some every hour. I’m hoping that helps to soften things up in there.

Some good news! I have given her water three times now and her crop is becoming much softer and smaller. She has been pooping more too. I’m thinking she just needs to be drinking more water and it could solve the problem!

This morning her crop is looking smaller. When I went to feel it it was quite hard. I gave her some water and massaged the crop a bit and it helped. She still doesn’t seem to be drinking from the water feeder but when I hold her to it she will sort of drink. Her poop is very tiny but I think more water will help to get that cleared out. She just seems pretty backed up. I was reading around and saw a concern about eating the wood shavings. Should I take them out?

You seem to be spending a lot of time around them. If you don't see her eating shavings, I wouldn't worry about it.

Keep up the treatment with the water and and massaging. Seems like the best course. Good luck.

Alright. I attempted to get a photo but it’s nearly impossible to get a clear one with these munchkins. This is what I’ve got. It seems to have gone doesn’t quite a bit, she is pooping more frequently, and has been drinking more water. Do you think she’s looking normal now? (Keep in mind she has also been eating all day but this looks much smaller than yesterday)

Not ideal angles. Still looks somewhat on the big side, but much better than before. Keep an eye on her and if she appears to be healthy and drinking/pooping okay, I'd say she should be okay.

She seems to be totally fine and normal now. I have her some electrolytes on saturday and it helped. Thanks!!
