Is this normal

Hello...I have raised chicks before but I am a stay at home chick mom now...so...these babies are different. I have a total of (9)4-5 week chicks & another (4) 1 week chicks in another brooder.
Needless to say the older ones are getting big and ready to play. So....today I took the 4 largest ones outside for a little sun.
They all stayed right by me and 3 started foraging right away. My concern is the barred rock laid down and kinda rolled to his side and covered his body w his wing.. sorta. Is the normal or a happy behavour???....I was concerned because thats the one that always run up for mealworms and seems to be high on pecking order. I di

dnt know if he/she was cold or enjoying sunbathing, so I brought them all back inside.
Heres some pics...hes the only one laying down.....anyone have any idea?
 
Looks like he's just enjoying the sun.

I'm 95 percent sure that is a cockerel with the amount of silver/grey feathers showing
