Is this normal?

When my chickens had mites how I found out was they got on me. It’s was easy to get them off a good hot shower and shampoo. Then I examined my flock
And found them on my chickens only non of my water fowl had them. I used Epernix since there was no egg with drawl. Ivermectin is good for treating too. But unless you know what to look for they could easily be missed. The mites my birds had were tiny an blk and could have been mistaken for specks of dirt if they hadn’t moved. Treating the birds was the easiest part then I had to remove all the beddings put it into something to haul it off. I thief used poultry spray sprayed the coop top to bottom making sure to get into all crack and crevices. Lice attach to the feather shafts. She maybe ready for a good molt to since she didn’t molt in the fall.
