Is this normal?

I saw a YouTube video where a turtle had a full grown duck and was drowning it. Its pretty gruesome

Im sure it was. However, Our two ducks have lived on our pond now for a year and trapping or killing any turtles that would be a threat is really not a viable option.

I just wondered if anyone had seen colored leg bands draw attention to them.

just want to mention here that just because they've been alright for a year doesnt mean it will continue to be that way. It's a risk I personally wouldnt take, it could end very badly. So I agree with miss lydia, it would probably be best to relocate the turtles if at all possible, or perhaps even move the ducks to a safer enclosed area

That is simply not an option, nor is it feasable. We are talking about a 2 acre or more size body of water. Obviously there is ALWAYS a chance that something could happen in MANY ways. I was only asking about anyone who has had experience with colored banding and that is the information that I would like to read. Thanks!
