Is This Normal?

Ok... Here are some different pictures.

She looks a bit rough lol as she is loosing her baby feathers.
 
I believe it's a gland that secretes oil....they use it for grooming their feathers. I often see my chickens rub their beak just above their tail, then groom their feathers to spread the oils over...makes them somewhat water-proof.

So there is nothing serious? And does every chicken have it?
 
I found this:

"Chickens also keep themselves clean by preening.

They will remove damaged feathers, get rid of built up oil and distribute fresh oil from a gland located at the base of their tail."

So yes, it's perfectly normal to have a gland at the base of the tail, and I assume all chickens have it.
 
Pullet as in girl?? Sorry i'm a little dumb lol.
I am pretty sure it is a girl. I know someone who has bred this breed for years and he say's that when they are six weeks old the sides of the head go bright red if they are boys and so far nothing has changed in colour on the face for this one.
