Is this normal???

This is my first time with a incubator. I have 6 eggs that are due today and 3 have pip but their has been no progress in the last 6 hours. My temperature is staying steady at 99.7 and my humdity is staying steady at 57%. I am just curious if this is normal or not?

Its normal for chicks to take several hours or even a day to hatch out of the egg. Its hard work, lol. Leave the lid shut and sit tight for now.

I have had them take up to 24 hours after they have pipped to hatch. It is not unusual at all for it to be at least 12 hours before you see any signs of zipping. Don't worry, walk away, give them time - hatching is hard work for those babies and they have to take a rest after making that first pip!
