Is this normal?

I have one chick that has 5 toes on one foot and 4 toes on the other foot. I checked the rest of the chicks and only the one chicks is like that. I never really noticed until today when we had them out for little while today for play time. We thought about naming her/him Five or maybe come up with another cool name.

If it's not an injury and the chick isn't having any trouble from it, I wouldn't worry about it. Just chalk it up as a nifty fluke and go for the cool name.

Sometimes that happens when you get funky mixes of breeds. I got a bunch of chicks like that when I crossed my polish with a mixed breed black cresty hen.

I do not think it is a injury. The chick seems to be fine.

So I guess we will give him/her a cool name. I think Five might just stick. lol
