Ok I got my chicks today!!!

But Im worried about a certain one that is alot bigger than the others. She/he is 5 to 6 weeks the owner before me wasnt completely sure and then I have 2 that are 3 weeks old (Blue Duckwing bantams). Then I have 1 week old BB red (in a brooder box still her sibling passed away a few days ago).

But long story short the bigger one is pecking and getting on top of the little ones. Should I remove her or what? Will they just work it out? Sorry Im a worrier!!

Not sure, as I am new to this myself, but if it were me I'd probably split the brooder with a clear plastic divider of some sort. Keep the bigger one(s) away from smaller but not make them feel completely isolated.

Good advice!

Once your younger chicks hit 4 weeks or so, they should be strong enough to hold their own against the larger one. Odds are in your favor since the smaller ones outnumber the bigger ones.
