is this normal?

my 6 month old rouen has been loosing her feathers like crazy,and has started to sleep standing up.i have no idea if the feathers and sleeping standing up is normal.

Probably first molt, and some of my runners sleep standing up, too. I guess that losing feathers may be a little unpleasant, perhaps sore, so maybe sleeping on the belly is less comfortable than standing.
