My three white chicks, which i believe are leghorns, are 3 weeks older than my 3 RIR and 6 black sex link. They have been together now for about 10 days after being seperated by wire for several days. There was some small pecking going on at first over food and water by the leghorns but that seems to be over but the leghorns stay apart from the others, almost segregated it appears. Will this change where they will be one flock or will they always stay apart?

They'll probably stay 'apart'...that might change as they get older and when they start to lay.
Perfectly normal.

Thanks for the responses...first time owning chickens and i spend alot of time with them everyday and it may sound silly but i just want them to be happy lol...glad to know its normal

I find their behavior fascinating...and it's important to know what's normal and what's not in order to take good care of them.
Lots of observation and asking questions is the best way to learn.

There will always be some pecking, the intensity of it can ebb and flow, but it's an essential part of their language.
