Is this nutritional yeast good for ducklings and ducks?

Nutritional Yeast is great for giving your ducklings niacin. Which is very important for their leg health and all-round health. 1 Tablespoon per cup of feed. And since you have Pekins it's even more important since they tend to get lameness and other leg issues if they become deficient in niacin. Mine still get it even though they are adults now. Here is some info on why it's important to give our ducklings niacin along with the proper feed.

I used the stuff below and had no issues with my Jumbo Pekins. Its 16oz (1lb) for about $3 more and has 56mg niacin per 2 tablespoons (vs. NOW nutritional yeast @ 32mg per 2 tablespoons). Feed as @Miss Lydia suggests in addition to waterfowl or all flock feed that also has a base amount of niacin in it. Feeds have different amounts so check the ingredients.. a feed with less niacin means they will need a larger amount of nutritional yeast mixed in or a feed with a high niacin content would mean that the ducklings would need less nutritional yeast mixed in. Fresh greens and peas are also good sources. I gave it free choice (didnt mix into their feed, but had it in a separate container and kept it full) and they loved it.
