Is this ok for hatching eggs?

I was worried about eggs getting kicked around in such a small space in my brinsea Eco with hatched chicks running amok in there. So I laid the eggs on ponytail holders to stabilize them. Will this be ok? I just put the eggs on lockdown but can easily remove the ponytail holders if they are going to cause an issue. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the eggs hardly move at all if nudged, the ponytail holders cradle them pretty well.

That will be great. Some people use egg cartons cut down. I love that idea. Great thinking.
