. Sorry not the best pic but they are squirmy ! Lol

Hard to see, but they look sort of rough when first feathering. If you notice someone pecking another or blood that is different. That can be solved, by adding greens and getting them outdoors some on grass , and not overheated....

yep..that's pretty normal..when the quills haven't come off the feathers they look kind of like it's bald..and their skin is so pink it looks sore..but if now one is pecking them or pulling their feathers i'd say they'll fill out in a week or two.

they dont have a heat lamp anymore but are in a heated barn - we turned the heat down a bit tho. thanks for your reply :)

yes! it looks like its been rubbed bald or raw :( esp when they are wet it looks so sore . ive stopped giving them warm baths they seem to like cooler ones now and i was afried it would make the lil bald areas even redder. they themselves are always picking at those areas tho ? i dont see them picking on each other . but they do it to themselves... every day 2 x a day - i take them outside for a lil bit then they get in the pool to swim. but outside they just lay beside me and look around thats it ... should i give them greens in their cage or pool ?

as the feathers come in they have a hard quil on the outside..the ducks "pick" at it to release the feather..they'll do it alot. they're preening and helping the feathers to come in..completely normal.
