my chickens are eating grass seeds we just planted in our yard...is it ok for them to eat it?

As long as the grass seeds were not treated with fertilizers or anti moss stuff like some of the bagged stuff is when you buy it at the store. Seeds alone great! Just wont have a lawn!

yeah, eating untreated grass seed is fine for the chickens --- but it $ort of defeat$ the purpo$e of reseeding the lawn

Might want to fence or cage 'em out of the reseeded area til the new grass is well established.
