Is this one a rooster or hen? 3 month old Silkie.

Any guesses? I keep thinking about DNA testing as we can't keep roosters. For some reason I think it would be better to know sooner rather than later, but I'm already attached to both these rascals . The one pic is an attempt to better see the comb but it's a little dark. Also wondering about the white 6 week old. The buff is about 3 months.

At six weeks, if the white one is pic # 1, that is male.

At 3 months, the buff should be showing a good little bump if male. I think the buff males can get some more color too. In that dark pic, I don't see much of a bump, but it might be deceptive. What do you feel there?

Don't spend your money to sex. It will be revealed for sure before long.

Easier said than done.. but i'll give it a shot
