Is this one infertile?

I cracked some of my quitters on my first ever incubation experience. Some were infertile and others had quit/blood rings.... Pretty sure because of saddled air cells from shipping. I put a sandwich bag in a bowl and I didn't make too much of a mess. It was educational, but I am a scientist;)

I just think the whole thing is interesting. I took human biology last semester for college (I'm a 32 year old part time college student studying Health Information Management) and I was totally into the dissections. I think that was the best part of the whole class.

if you cracked this egg open it would look like any other egg you cracked open. there seems to be no development at all. it was either infertile or the embryo died very very early on. Eggtopsies arent as gross as they seem.

That's what I figured...I will leave it a few more days, I was told that if the dark darkens more then it might be good...we'll see.

And not that I want any of my embryos to die, I want to do a eggtopsie on a developing chick...I think it'd be interesting!

iv been incubating duck eggs and they show signs of viening at about 4 to 6 days and bantams at 3 to 5 days.i also have a few guinea eggss and turkey eggs and i cant see anything through those shells. But i have a duck egg that is soon to hatch and im unsure of its fertility the eggs is mostly dark but there is no movement that i can make out and its due to hatch in 4 days should i see movement?

You probably should see movement, this is a picture of what the egg should look like, can you see the veins in your egg?

Yeah there are viens but the whole egg isnt dark like that just like one side

Okay so sorry i took so long to answer, hope I am not to late! If there are veins I would leave it, could be a little weaker than the rest though, How does it look now?
