That is not pasty butt like I have ever seen it. It looks like urates. Is she exhibiting any other behavior that would make you think she's sick?

I'm wondering if it's vent gleet. Can you get pictures of her backside tomorrow?

Before I go - Do you guys think it would be helpful to give this pullet a Tums tablet to help her push this out in case it is egg tissue? At 18 weeks she could be starting to ovulate. What do you think?

I don't suppose it would hurt. Are you thinking it might be a soft shelled egg and the white stuff is albumen? Worth a shot...

Just pull gently down on her wattles with one hand to open her beak and quickly pop the Tums in. It looks big but she will swallow it. Good luck and good night!

I was able to grab more pics… I did put some ointment on her early so that be what some of the white stuff is on her now, but she was all cleaned up so I have a feeling it’s more of that white stuff that was on her before we cleaned her up, it was hard to get off.
