I was think the same thing… so weird!! I’m keeping her isolated and will keep checking on her.

I was thinking maybe egg white based on what others surmised. Maybe a new layer trying to pass a soft shelled or even shell-less egg caused the prolapse. And now that egg membrane broke and it leaking out.

When you insert a gloved, lubed finger, do you feel any kind of obstruction, or anything like broken shell? Have you given her any more calcium and did it seem to help any? Do watch carefully for flystrike - any sign of maggots in the area.
