Is this plant safe for chickens?

I don’t know what this plant is (it’s young right now) but it grows all over the side of my yard. It’s like a ground cover? Is it safe for chickens? I want them to forage in this area but this plant is everywhere so if it’s not safe I really need to know. I’m sorry I don’t know what it is, I moved in this house 2 years ago thanks

It's a wild violet that can be very invasive. It's fine for your chickens to scratch around in.

We have it around here too. Flowers are pretty, but they spread like the plague.

They are all over my yard too and my chickens thing they are gold
