Total agreement there! If dogs are allowed, chickens should be allowed. Dogs: make a lot of noise, usually without cause. Chickens: at least when they talk, they have something to say. Also, dog poo: huge yuck factor. Chicken poo: not so much.

Weeellll, that can depend on how many birds are pooping and how it's managed.
