i have a red sex link, Natty, i've had suspichuns that she is is he. she diffently has the hen red sex link color pattern and colors, but has a big comb and wattles, much bigger than the other chicks. i don't have a resent pic of her but i'll try to get one sson. can a red sex link be rooster but have the hen colors? i've seen one on feathersite:

Is it a sex link crossed to a sex link? That would explain the odd coloration. It would be real unique if this bird was a true sex link rooster. If it were there should be no doubt about its sex.

It's a roo... but not a sex link. otherwise it wouldn't be a roo.

Its a roo.
-not sure if everyone else noticed but the top picture is not the bird in question... the 2nd picture is-
And I'd wait a bit longer for all the adult feathers to come in befor judging the color. SLW and GLW look very different with their juvenile feathers and change a lot when growing up. Your roo may be that way too in it's colors changing alot until he matures.
