Is this Rhode Island Red a cockerel?

I have a five week old Rhode Island Red that seems way different than the others. It is a darker shade (feathers) than the others and has a slightly more developed comb than the other chicks. When I put one of my one and one half year old hens in with them the other chicks were wary of her , but this bird attempted to attack the hen. Are my assumptions correct and it is a cock or is it a confident pullet? I will try to post some pictures later. Thanks!!!

It would be helpful if you can post pics. Try and get a side shot and a head shot that way maybe we can help you out. How old is your chicken?

Sorry, I am still trying to get a photo. the neck feathers seem more pointed than the other chicks though. Also, I'm sorry that I posted this in the wrong section. I accidentally clicked this one.
