I have some red sex-link and barred rock hens they are currently 24weeks old and most of them have been laying for about 2weeks now. They have access to outdoors where they can eat grass and play in the dirt and what not.
My question is if anyone knows if this ration would be correct..I mix about a ton at a time
1800lbs of crushed wheat screenings (12-14% protein)
200lbs of soybean meal (50ish% protein if i recall correctly)
60lbs of Fertel's organic poultry nutri balancer
175lbs of calcium carb.
During the winter I give them some square alfalfa bales, I also give them oyster shells year round to pick at.
My broilers have been getting this:
1600lbs of crushed wheat screening
400lbs of soybean meal
60lbs of fertels organic poultry nutri balancer
25lbs of calcium carbonate
