Is this roo a BR or Marans?

Is this sweet guy in the front a BR or Marans?

He was sold as a BR and the little guy in the back as a Marans. I have a hard time telling the difference. One reason is that the BR's legs are not as yellow as the pullets, - they are kind of light - a lot like the Marans. Is this normal for a BR roo? His beak is kind of pearl as well. Thanks~!

Can't see the feet well. If they are white, then he's a Marans. BR feet are quite yellow and so is the beak. He could be a cross as well.
