Is this rooster a Columbian rock?

I'm wondering what type of rooster this is and what I should look for in the chicks he throws from my barred rock and black ee girls.

Also, I he's almost a year old and super sweet. He got the name snowball from the kids when he was a chick and super white. We didn't want a rooster, but he's so sweet that we can't get rid of him.
