Though getting wet and cold can compromise the immune system a little, but it is still unlikely they'll get ill that easily as chickens are robust little things..

Yes, that's true....but still...pet peeve about those generalizations.
Like pneumonia bacterium comes down with the rain and infects one immediately...haha!

Thank u everyone! I blow-dried the girls (I am just to cautious) and they seemed MUCH happier after that! (A little extra drying can't harm 'em!) I rested assured last night. They are fine and dandy now! Thanks everyone!!
