Is this sand good for using in the coop?

I’ve read that river sand is the best sand to use. I don’t wanna buy any sand without knowing if it’s toxic for my ducks or not. Will it hurt my ducks’ legs?

As long as it doesn't have any additives it should be okay. it should say on the bag if it does, or get the number off the bag and call the company.

I think their feet are fine, ive read a lot of posts about sand sticking in their crops and causing issues. My personal feeling is that they root around in dirt all day but do some research on it either way.

My vet told me that sand was good for feet. But she was worried about it causing impaction problems (potentially needing emergency surgery) from them eating it, so we decided not to use it.

I'm not sure if that sand is good or not.
